Nero Burning Rom

hey guys i have a movie in .avi format and i tried burning it as video on nero when i click burn it sais encoding video, is it supposed to take that long to encode until it starts burning the movie

Yes, it took me a long time too.

Try converting it ..

I nice thin converter is callled AVI2MPG..

DOS command line utility..

well i have TMPGEnc it converts it to VCD format

I donno if it was just mine or what, but when I used nero to make a VCD the quality was crap, but then again the source file was small so quality was not great to begin with, but much better on the comp then on the dvd player/
