ok so......i have a cell phone panasonic gd-88 and i bought it from pacific mall like 2 years ago or 1 year and a half but i bought it cash then went to rogers to get a plan........in april 2005 my phone just stopped workin, like i would turn it on and it goes through greeting and then before the main screen it jus starts flashin on and off so i tried cancellin my phone but they said i have to pay the last bill....so i did and i decided to keep my phone going....but it doesnt work....so could i call rogers and ask for a phone from them.....not particularly the same one but maybe something different.....AND i dont have a contract i bought my phone and went somewhere for a plan (ROGERS) so i am confused if they would let me have a phone or if i would have to buy a new phone since i have no contract.....plzzz any advice will be greatly appreciated.....i am gonna phone rogers tomorrow to see what they will say....

phone upgrade! call roger's ,,, you pay like full price for a phone then they will ask you about your contract if ya want 2 more years and you usally get a rebate..... thats what i did with BELL, but if you dont want the contract for the 2 years no rebate on the new handset phone...

since u bought it like 2 years ago, ur manufactures warranty is finished.. but most places will give discounts... all phone companies are notorious for bad customer service...

i have bell, n about a year ago my phone went all messy too, so i called bell, n it took bout 5 diff ppl until i could finally talk to them without hangin up on me.. n they gave me $100 off any phone BUT u have to go to bell and pay full price and get $100 off in mail, so i complained and they sent it to me $100 off ... ull probably waste a whole day on the phone talkin 2 ppl who say "sorry i dont have permission to answer that" or "sorry we cant give u the manager" or "will call u back with an answer" they're good for nothin

u need to talk to a manager, because all those ppl who pick up the phone will jus say u cant do anythin with it.. jus buy a new one.. so when u call jus say this is ur 5th time callin ,and u still havnt gotten a manager, u need one this instant.. and they should give u someone with atleast some kind of authority..

nice phone... well it used to be... i have the same one... i bought it when it first first came out when camera phones were big... now its nothing lol theres video phones!!!

renew/get your/a contract and get a new subsidized phone...v635 from rogers is like 200bucks on a 3yr contract and its a wicked phone 1.2mp camera, video recording, transflash storage etc...I was thinkin about trading my V3 RAZR for one of them
