nickelback wouldn't be my first choice , but its up to you, how about:

switchfoot - meant to live
blink 182 - miss you( maybe to soft)
brand new - sic transit somethin somethin?
high holy days - all my real friends
incubus - megalomaniac
maroon 5 - this love( cool song but maybe to soft as welll)
the trews - not ready to go
the vines - ride
melissa auf der maur - follow the waves(canadian girl, ex bassest for hole and pumpkins)

most of these songs are from the thursday 30 list at edge102, i always check there when i here a new song i like but missed the title

most new rock is gay on the radio

if you want a real chill fun song then I vouch for

Blind melon - no rain

then soem others that are more popy but good to hear

incubus - pardon me, wish you were hear

I can't think of any "new rock" that is really any good

The Darkness - I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE

That song is so good!!! I hear it every day at work and I just feel compelled to rock out! The guy's voice is pretty annoying, but the guitars are just so much fun!

spitalfield - I love the way she said L.A.

Brand New - Sic Transit Gloria

Brand New - The Quiet Things that No One Ever Knows

Finch - What it is to Burn

AudioSlave - I am the Highway

Goldfinger - Superman

Fenix Tx - Threesome

Jimmy Eat World - The Middle

Maroon5 - The Sun

Yellowcard -Sureshot

Just a few that I picked out of my list. Some of yellowcard's stuff is good, it's very....upbeat, it works well in Amped2 when you're trying to get a high score lol.

what I do is just go to the radios website, in this case edge.ca and download their top 30 singles... most likely you will get all the songs you want.
