Which MP3 player to buy....

I'm thinking of picking up an MP3 player but not sure which to buy. So I'm looking for people's suggestions from past experiences or general knowledge.

Criteria are:

1. Double digit storage - so no Nano/Mini/Light/Slim stuff. I don't mind if it's bigger than a PDA but it must have storage.

2. Video capabilites - I know most if not all new players offer this but which would have the best quality/screen size

3. Battery life - obviously the longer the better

4. Battery - Must have removeable AND rechargeable battery

5. File support - the most or most popular file types would be desired.

6. Extras - I know some offer stuff like radio and voice recorder so the more extras the better.

That's all I can think of right now. I know that with these requirements it'll be in the $400+ range so if you know of a good player that's up there in price don't be afraid to mention it. Also if possible please list some pro's or con's about each. Right now I'm looking at the Creative Zen Vision W.

Thanks all

going to agree with CM here...if you want video the archos is the best way to go...

but ask yourself first, will you actually use video?...most people don't use video on their video enables players...

I'm gonna try one for my next machine, I figure worst case (if I don't like OS X at all) I've paid a small premium for a fancy looking windows machine....

I have to reboot my XP machine on a daily basis because it acts stupid, I'm ready to try something else...

i would only buy an ibook as G series are wayy too over priced right now .. true they are stable (so ive been lead to believe) but i cant justify paying 3-4 G's for a pc that im using to surf the net/dl stuff/ and run a few apps on .. when and if i get an ibook its only purpose is audio applications .. thats all they are good for Audio/Visual

you cant run xp on a i686 architecture, but you can get emulators that run xp through osx

if that was true there wouldn't be a market for pc's now...

the answer is that there is no BEST anything... it's all about tradeoffs...

IMO i'd much rather have a pc than a mac...

but anyways that whole thing is off-topic...

how about we keep it back on topic?
