Cool May 24 Long Weekend - what did YOU do?

How was everyone's May 24 long weekend?

Went to my friends cottage in Wasaga. Haven't been there for May 24 in a long time. Felt super old, everyone is max 20 years old. Good times though

I work every long weekend this summer but then again I also get 4 day weekends every other weekend so I can't really complain.

24 hours invested in the yard. The wifie list took a big hit this weekend. Maybe I will drive my car this summer?

Installed new powersteering belt and alternator belt, installed new 4g ground straps, fixed melted head light wiring plugs (80/100watt bulbs get HOT apparently...lol), fixed ground wire on stereo amp, cleaned out interior (first time in well over a year... was pretty nasty). Also did a little work on the accord wagon.

The springtime interior cleaning~! I'm surprised that things weren't worse (it's trashy when you see a car with old Timmies cups thrown over the back seat and junk all over the floor...some people are total dirtbags when it comes to their homes or their cars ), but winter is a rough time for the cars. A good vacuuming, wiping off the dust and replacing the mats, and it's cleaned up. Always feels good to get a car in summer mode.

Sounds like you did a lot of work on the cars, Mike. Sometimes, it's difficult to find a good patch of solid time to get work like that accomplished, looks like you were able to do a lot of work.
