Love Song I wrote

Hey,

This is a track I wrote... my friend did the music and singing with his guitar and a $5 mic.

Feedback is appreciated.

I have a few other songs I had written we are looking at recording soon.

we had some 'artisitic differences' near the end of the song where he thought i was being too disgusting.. and changing it.. so the ending is a little off.

Love Song MP3

Lemme know what you think!

Sev

i asked for an opinion on the song, noy your thoughts on my psychological well being.

i'm male, 25, with a university education. i have a full time IT job where I am responsible for not only support, but I make decisions and design the system in all aspects (hardware and software). I have never been charged with a criminal offense, nor do I think I will be.

I have a few hobbies which my pursue mostly during weeknights. I have a healthy heterosexual monogomus relationship. I am STD free (last time I checked)

I do not have any weird fetishes, nor do I have any sort of destructive obsessions or desires.

I am accepting of anything and hold nothing verbal holy. Words are nothing more than words. It is action that truly defines a man.

I hope I answered your questions.

Before pointing fingers at others, maybe you should assess yourself and try to figure out why you assume people who are not of the same mind set must be whacked out.

Have a nice day.

----

Jason... we wanted soemthing with shock humour of a different tone... it starts off normal... which is when my friends didn't believe I wrote it.. until they see what comes along...

when i laid my eyes on you
i knew a found a love thats true
you were not of prized virtue
but i could change you
show you something new

My intelligence is what should be questioned.... instead of pursuing my career with great effort... I waste my time with this sort of stuff.

def. of joke: An amusing or ludicrous incident or situation.

I'm just not as sensitive as many other people and I despise policial correctness.

Freedom of speech..... if you truly believe in freedom of speech, you must allow someone the right to verbally trample and urinate on everything you hold holy. Freedom of speech does no entail maintaining standards.

People think freedom of speech applies to all aspects of life, but it does not, and should not. Private establishments in any form should have the right to control whatever they want.

TCC for example is private and can do whatever it wants, regardless of what you think your rights are.

It is the government who must not interfere with your rights as a person in the public domain to voice yourself.

I think racist people are idiots for example. I think there is a logic of flawed logic applied to any nationalist pride, however, I would fight for the freedom of people to voice their opinions.

You can't deny people the freedom to express themselves no matter how disgusting you think their opinion is....

Cuba for example, you cannot say anything bad about the main man Fidel. In the states, before Dubyeh came around, you could burn the US flag and say you hated the government.

The patriot act has changed all this. The US citizens have been losing the rights they uphold so dearly and they can't see it happening.

I even support you writing a book on how much you think I'm an idiot, how twisted and warped I am, and how I should be taken out back and shot in the head.

It's just your opinion. I support you on that matter.

I've gone a little off topic... I'll shut up now.

i like the 2nd verse the best.

the 3rd verse.. after making love to her breast, the lyrics were about taking an industrial drill and 'finishing' inside her lungs literally.

he changed it to

your corpse it is my territory
so i took my **** and marked it
you looked like you just fought a bear
so now i have to dig a grave

I was a little disappointed with that.. but whatever.. we wanted it finished and ready to share with everyone.

1 vote for Radio Play here

That was great .... yeah it was a little out there but I bet with some digital master of the track it could be worthy of radio play...

Dude you asked why your wasting time goofing and not working full on in your career... simple your in the wrong career. Dude write music produce that **** and get radio play thats what you need to do.

as for the tune it had a very barenaked ladies edge to the sound. mind you they wouldn't sing about dead hookers, but the song sounded like one of theirs. well done dude.
