That was a sick episode, it's interesting to learn more about the others. I never would have guessed that they tricked that scientist into coming to the island, I always had the impression that they were all there from the old experiments talked about in the video from the hatch.

I think I know quite a few of the answers to this show, I worked with a big fan before, he did the Lost Experience, listens to the official Lost podcasts, etc. So he seemed to know his stuff and I asked him a bunch of questions about it, so ask away.

Which numbers? 4 8 15 16 23 42?
Those are the numbers for the Valenzetti equation(a fictional equation made-up by the show), which tells when the world will end. The island was previously used to do tests (ie. making a polar bear acclimatized to a tropical climate, trying to alter some of the electromagnetic field of the earth,etc. Basically something for each hatch.) to try and change the state of the earth, to change the equation, and thus change the timing for the end of the world.
