Looking for Full-time Job in Mississauga area

As specified in the topic...

I will be looking for a full-time position starting as early as next Monday. If you, or anyone you know will have a job opening in the very near future, paying about $9-10 an hour min. in the Mississauga area, please let me know. I have already applied to several places, but I haven't gotten a reply as of yet.

Thanks in advance.

Woodbine Racetrack Slots (the Casino). Government job, full benefits. Most positions start at about $13/hr. Easy as pie work.
Need I say more?

Qualifications?

I worked as a Lifeguard/swimmming instructor for about a year with the city of Mississauga, but I don't want to go back to doing that. I worked as a cashier/server for a couple of months this summer. I just finished OAC with about honour roll marks. I'm 18, and need a job.

Not much else I can say..

The in-store managers?
No chance.

Maybe somewhere in their main office. But seeing as how they are doing a major restructuring right about now, I don't see how I could get a decent position without knowing some pretty important people.

Unfortunately not.
I wonder how desperate I'll get in a week or so if I can't find a job by then.
Maybe I'll end up inviting some of you guys over for fries.

Thats pretty much where I applied.
Some SQ1 stores, and several larger chains around the Mavis/Britannia area.
Now I'm trying to get a job through relatives/friends, but I'm growing increasingly impatient. The thing is that now alot of stores are laying off the seasonals that were hired before X-mas, and when I tried applying for a February job back in December I was told to wait after the holidays.
And now I'm screwed.

Oh well, its just a matter of time before I find something exciting.

Good luck to you with finding a placement.
