Life is good

So I'm sitting in my garage, drinking a rum and coke, watching Predator on the LCD and I'm thinking life is good.

I have a good job, a great wife, a cold drink and a nice car. What could be any better?

Is anyone else at that stage in life where they are totally happy?

lcd in the garage? I'm always happy i just get bored and need change. Hence why when I meet a great girl I have a tendancy to dump them (dumb ***** syndrom). Right now im content but still constantly need change. Don't think I could ever stick with one women for more than a couple years.

It's a small one, but sitting outside and watching TV while having a drink is so nice.

It might take a while, but being settled is very gratifying.

"dumb ***** syndrom" I had that once. Now its dumb married guy sydrom.

I think sometimes it might be a person's outlook. Positive people will usually find the proverbial 'silver lining', even in a negative situation.

I'm with you on this one Mike. I feel the same way about my life.

To your question about "what could be any better", I do have an answer. In my case, it's my daughter.

What could be better? Probably kids.

I'm probably at the opposite stage. I've never been more stressed out than I've ever been being a broke university student. That being said I can see it getting easier from here on out once I get on my feet.

that's funny... i wish i was still a broke university student getting drunk 3-4 times a week, smoking not affecting me, and no responsibilities except getting home in one piece and wearing a rubber.

now i got people asking me about my financial future and when i'm getting married.

i wish i was a toy-r-us kid

For me, life is so so. Work is up and down. I am not enjoying my work, but working from home every other week is good. Money can stress me, especially because most of it is feeding and clothing the kids, not to mention their dance classes, but my kids are what make me happy.

It's more of a trade off, but I wouldn't change it for the world, except for my job. Too many idiots to deal with or work with.

Yeah Mandie, winning the lottery would be nice right now.

Other than that, I got no real complaints. There are people far worse off than any of us.
