Ok, realistically...Leafs in playoffS? I mean, they only have like 8 games left and they're pouring it on right now. Last 5 games: 9 out of possible 10 points. YEH OR NEH?

I'm a die-hard leaf fan and I hope that they dont make the playoffs. Hopefully the massive loss in revenue will open their eyes and notice that they have to make some changes with their roster and management.


The future of this team lies within Wellwood I think. He has so much skill is unbelievable. Oh, and get rid of McCabe, he's junk. Keep Kaberle, he's more of a defensemen.

I'm a Leafs fan and think its funny that the debate is whether or not they can make it into the playoffs. They aren't playing good enough to make it in for sure and definitely don't have a good shot at the cup. So, who cares if they make it to the play offs because then what?...a couple losses then they are finished anyway.

i agree with you... wellwood is amazing... we should try to make changes and go around him instead.... and yeah... keep kaberle... getting rid of McCabe is a question, but i think we'll keep him as well...


as for leafs for playoffs, i think we still have a chance.... as long as leafs tries hard enough, we'll make it... but we won't go anywhere pass first round for sure haha

on the other hand, although rapz is packing up this season, but we have some signs of a future... consider bosh is turning into a huge star.... charlie V wasn't a bust... but we need consistency... mopete is starting to become a decent baller like he is capable of... one question is... will mike james still be as effective next season? and will he leave or not? we still need a pass first guard, mike james is scoring first... and we need a center... but we're having two euro guards back to us next seasons... hope it turns out good... jose calderon wasn't bad but the injury has hurt his performance a bit and let hope joey graham is just a slow development but will turn out great... we have a good core... so i see more hopes in rapz then leafs suddenly..

leafs needs change or we're doom! but atleast on rapz, we got brian colangelo, that guy is amazing!!!

ottawa is known to choke in the playoffs, and especially without their experienced goalie in net.. i think the first round will be a big bunch of upsets.. even if the leafs dont make it.. if they do want to make it they have to stop this dump and chase nonsense..but i think they will make it .. slipping into 8th spot.. i think itd be better for us to play ott .. and not carolina.. we can beat ott in the playoffs.. forget about what happneed in the regular season.. rembebrmr eddies sittin out

I hope they don't make it for the next 5 years....then and only then will a leafs game actually be attainable for normal working people.

sold out games will not be from habit, but will acutally be from a good team and teh management will have to actually work to get people in the stands and the team in the post season. so basically, **** the management, **** the ticket prices and **** the leafs until changes are made

I don't even care about hockey, I hardly watch any games anymore.. I just pick up the scores from the paper and read whats going on.. you can't honestly sit there and tell me the leafs aren't ****.. well they had a half decent team but they need better management and thats the bottom line.. if you don't have good management everything falls apart down the line..

I am embarrased when Leaf fans flood the streets after a 1st round win....

if they happen to make it into the playoffs this year...wtf for...to lose in the first round..i'm sorry but this team is capable of a lot more...and frankly speaking....i'd rather not see em in the playoffs unless they can make a serious cup run...

the best thing that can happen is the cup going to Ottawa...a slap in the face to all leaf fans and a strong bitter message will then be sent to management....

Leafs management and front office already knows that Ottawa is a big contender this year and their proof was the beating they got this year from Otawa, and yet, they have the money to make big trades and acquires free agents during the trade deadline and they didn't do s#!t. So, I too, hope they chock and slide down the rankings even further than they are now.

I'm a HUGE leafs fan and always will be, but I dont' know about them making the playoffs. Hopfully they will make it and do some damage, but I agree that they need to do some big changes around with management and roster
