Hi,

Planning to go away to the Domincan Republic or Mexico during the first week of June. Anyone know if it would be cheaper to book a package now or wait till that week to do so? first time vacationing so precise info would be great!

ya man for sure....i did once to the domincan.....booked on a wedsday left friday....a little over $1000 for two people, one week all exclusive, 5 star

as long as you are not set on where you want to go last min is the best way to do it. im off to vegas the first week of may and im still waiting to book. last min deals usually start 2 weeks before leaving. so start checking some sites and the sat star or sun sun travel sections for more info. good luck.

hey, what month and where in the Dominican did you go to? Cause I figured in June won't be as cheap as december lets say...

I did Dominican a few years ago. Went first week of september. Cost like $600 per person all inclusive at a 4 or 5 star. Booked Friday, left Monday.

Good place to just get drunk and lay in the sun, but other than that boring as hell.

If you do it last minute, you won't have the same seletion but you can get some good deals.
It's all about if your feelin lucky or not

actually june would be cheaper then december
more people want to leave winter and go to nice weather for that whole vacation effect.
going from june ontario weather to june dom. weather wont be a huge shock.

dont rule out mexico or the bahamas either for last min deals. i have been to all three and dom was last on my list of favs.. bahamas being at the top

Ya thats what I though....I'd only go to a 'summer' resort when it's winter here...their's nothing better then coming back with a nice tan when most ppl are still pasty white (if their white to begin wit lol)
