A family friend of mine had it done, and it was amazing. It isn't even that expensive considering it is a permanent thing.
He says having his vision back and not having to wear glasses is priceless

the only thing i would be worried about is possible long term effects it might have.
i was planning on doing this, but im gonna wait a few years and then start considering it again.

That would be a good idea. The guy who got is done is already 50 years old...so if he did go blind down the road, at least he has lived his life. Your still a youngin...so you don't wanna do that. Wait a few years to see how the people who have already got it done were affected down the road, and by then the surgery will probably be safer and improved anyways.

I have had it done to both eyes, Vision improvement is huge.. dont choose a docter based on price.. Mine cost 2000 for both eyes.

The only problem is a slight loss of night vision, it takes some getting used to.

Other that that.. its not that bad.

Yo, over here, I had it done for both eyes as well. But mine cost alot more than $2000... mine was that much FOR EACH EYE.

True about the night vision, but it goes away after a month or so, at least it did for me.

It was THE BIGGEST investment I think I ever made for myself. My doctor said I now see better than 20/20.

How bad is the night vision loss?

meaning you can't see as far at night?
or things are more blurry?

For me the blurriness cleared up after a couple days.
The "night vision" is when the lights seem really really bright. It looks like the "rays" extend very far beyond the lightbulb (Does that make sense?).

Im thinking of getting it done because my right eye is very poor, however my left eye is really good so it kinda balances out, but I want to be able use both eyes lol

Sometimes you get "starburst" or "halos" around bright objects.. im told this is normal. It does get better. My vision so far has gone as good as 20/10 and 20/30 in my really messed up eye.

A friend of mine had it done 3 years ago and his eyes are still fine. Just ask some cops. Quite a few of them have had it done cuz you cant wear glasses when you join the force. I gotta get it done in a year or two cuz I'm gonna be a cop

My mom's boyfriend had it done last year, doesn't need glasses at all now! He sees (in his words) "like [he] could when [he] was a kid!" so I guess that that means great!

btw, I've heard ads on the radio regarding Lasik MD (I think) that their prices are $499 and up per eye so I don't think that it's very expensive at all! Think of it as a good investment (or "mod" ) for yourself!
