Korean BBQ at Chako Barbecue.Izakaya - Friday July 18 (All You Can Eat!)
It is long overdue, and I can't remember the last time we had one. Maybe 2 years ago? We used to host it at Commerce Gate Korean House BBQ. Korean BBQ cuisine has bloomed over the years and there are many other new restaurants available.
The latest addition to this whole madness is Chako. First restaurant was opened at Silverstar Blvd. in Scarborough, very close to Pacific Mall and it moved to this new location opened about 6 months ago, even bigger and more lavish. I have been to the first location a couple times and the food is better compare to Korean House at Commerce Gate, though expect to pay a little more than that place.
This new restaurant is cleaner and looks upscale, and they promote "smoke free" so you come out not smelling like meat. I can't stress enough that a clean establishment is very important when it comes to dinning. These are the reasons why I pick this place over the other one.
Friday is considered weekend so Late Night menu is $11.99, taxes and tips excluded, and drinks are extra. You get basic meat - beef, chicken ... etc (5 types I believe), rice and soup, all unlimited. I would bring $20 bucks just to be safe.
Date is set at Friday July 18, which should give you all enough times to plan ahead and whatnot. We will most likely to have a pre-meet before 10:00PM and cruise there together. Pre-meet location and time to be determined at a later date.
Chako Barbecue
163 York Blvd., Richmond Hill
905 889 7898
10 PM to 2 AM (door locks at 12:30AM - no more admission)
Located at Hwy. 7 & 404, west of 404, north of Hwy.7, in the plaza with Jackastor, and a bunch of other restaurants.
Time to get together boys and girls, you owe it to yourself for a night out with the crowd.
