Just joined the Army, anybody in there also???
Well today, my friends and I signed up for the Army "co-op" program at my school.
This program is for next semester and from 8am-11:30am, I'll be doing military training, getting paid $35.00 a day.
If I plan on going a bit further with this, I'll be going to New Brunswick in Summer for 6 weeks for more training, while getting paid $71.00 a day.
Has anybody gone throught this before????

YAH WHAT IS THAT......my friend goes to RMC, and they get paid to go to school........like wow....i wish i got paid to go to school.....such an insentive.....and it'z really good pay..one day i was on the phone with him..and we worked it out....when he'z done he can get a house...like not own the house but like have a down payment on decent one.........either that or buy a car..........lol so getting an education while bascially setting up ur life......that'z what i call Post secondary education that gears u towards the future......

Canadian Army is not my first choice, US Army would be, but it will be fun with all my buddies there

i am in the army...i serve with the toronto scottish regiment (infantry)...any ques...PM me....you'll like your training the pay is much better if you are actually in the army and not in school...i got paid 80 a day staring and a "day" is 6 hours to the army....the canadian army is the second best paid army in the world...amercans 12th...if you wanna fight with an army who kill there own troops join the yanks....your canadian serve your country

The only one that I know weel enough would be the CERs.... I have a few buddies in it.

yea, it's the CER, basically Combat engineer.
