This pic is of and ES3 (7th Gen 4 Door) interior. Can somebody tell my why there is some sort of robotic are / joystick coming from the engine bay?
There's a shot of the engine on the site and it looks bone stock.

im in love lol...
I looked at a huge chunk of those pictures and I seriously could not find 1 header in there that wasnt wrapped with that heat wrapping... Not One! lol....
Correct me if im wrong but isnt that wrap around all of they're headers to help hold the heat in?? Ive seen it used lots on turbo'd cars but not really all motor cars... A few quick questions... Why do they want to keep the header so hot on a non-turbo'd car??? Also what is the correct name for the wrapping they use for they're headers and does anyone know approx. how much it costs??? and the benefits of having your header wrapped on a non-boosted car???
thanks to whoever can help with the above questions...

It is not they want to keep it hot, it is to keep the heat from "spreading" around inside the engine bay. It is called Heat Wrap, if I remember it correctly.
All motor cars can generate enough heat, actually, all cars generate heat from exhaust gas.

I could be wrong though.
