since this info was leaked a while ago i guess there's no harm in letting you know that 2 other versions are coming out

one with GPS

and one with WIFI

yeah, but im not sure what carrier is getting the wifi device so in the end it might not be available in canada but you could always unlock it

assuming its GSM, and knowing Rogers I'm sure they will get the one without Wifi, wouldn't want to cut into thier over-priced data plans...

not that I care, I prefer unlocked phones, no carrier crap or commitments...

any gsm carrier...

CDMA (bell, telus, verizon, sprint) are a whole different story...as far as I know Bell and Telus won't activate anybody elses phones but thier own...

ya kind of sucks...all the CDMA providers seem to be like that, I had the idea of activating a Bell Treo on Virgin mobile a while ago, and called them up and they said they don't activiate anybody elses phones at all...

yah. I switch phones about every 4-5 months and every other one seems to be a damn windows mobile lol. only with windows mobile devices I rack up data usage of around $14,000. on blackberrys maybe luck to get $800.

by mike do you basically mean push to talk? direct connect?

if so then there are blackberry's with telus that do that.
