iphone to car stereo.

I want to connect my iphone to car stereo.
Is the connector on the bottom of the iphone different from the ipod?
Cause futureshop/best buy only carry the ones for the ipod, and they said the iphone is different.

I could just use headphone jack, but I want to be able to charge my iphone at the same time.

Whats the best solution, and cleanest setup?

hahah good call.
So that cable that goes from the iphone to the aux will charge my iphone?
Cause I also saw one that has a power wire that needs to be connected to the battery.

ya uses the same cable as the ipod, so if it works witht hat it should be ok...only thing is sometimes you have to turn off the cell part because it causes interference with the music...

that is true...but i have found that to be true with any cell phone...like if im using a regular ipod on my deck and the cell rings it creates the interferences...not just specific to the iphone.
