im pissed off now

so right now im at work in the office (well, not really working )
and the phone rings.

this guy starts going off because i sent a package to his jobsite via UPS shipping.... blah blah "UPS is a piece of shiet company" blah blah..

they dont ship to my construction site untill 5 pm when everyone is gone blah blah

my ears are ringing from his yelling

i was just like, "sir, i apologise, here UPS has great service and they ship around 11 am to noon, next time i send something to you i will use FedEx"

he was like "damn right you better cuzi boycott UPS pieces of shiet"

(the whole time i was like thinking, dude take a f'n prozac or ritalin or something)

what pissed me off the most is im not allowed to talk back, something i naturally love to do, so it was all building up in me, and whe he hung up i screamed "F**K YOU TOO!!! *******!!'' and proceeded to rip my mouse out of the computer and hurl it across the room....

good think im alone in the office today

shoulda asked him if he specified a shipping company when he ordered...
or if he knew you guys used them why he hadn't been specific when he placed his order.......

was this his first order thru yas??

btw..none of the questions above could be construed as sassin'...

Ahhh sometimes u do gotta deal with it, other times u can get away with being a smart *** in a nice professional manner, which i've learned to master . . LOL once u get to this level u'll feel great....haha but sometimes on the rare ocasion it's really hard. . i know...and u do gotta suck it up on ocasion

Have you ever worked for a construction at a site? If you did you would find out its very important to get your **** at a early time! I wouldn't blame the guy for being pissed.

I don't miss dealing with clients

I remember this on gentleman calling our service department, (computer hardware) and driving the service manager crazy, so I had to take the call. This is how it went:

"Good Morning, General Manager."

"Are you the one in charge?"

"Yes sir, and I have been briefed on your problem. Unfortunately sir, your monitor has been out of warranty for over three years, and we cannot give you a refund, nor a new monitor. If you wish to return for fixing, we can take a look at it for you."

"I do not want it fixed, I want my money back."

"I'm sorry sir, but you purchased that monitor six years ago, and we cannot give a refund."

"I am sick and tired of your crappy products, and I would really like my money back."

"I understand your dilemma sir, but I cannot help you with your request, may I suggest you allow us to take a look at the monitor to see if we can fix it."

"You are unscrupulous, and this company is unscrupulous. Do you understand what that means."

"Yes sir, I understand the meaning of unscrupulous. However I cannot grant your request."

"Fine, I am going to contact an attorney now."

"Certainly that is your right, however, if you do wish to return the monitor to be fixed, please contact the service department at your convenience. Thank you for your call today."

my fav is when male clients call u "honey" or "sweetheart"...i just cant believe the audacity...like, which friggin century r we living in and who the frick do u think u r? but yeah...i've always had to bite my tongue and then scream a string of obscenties after slamming the phone down...bosses in hearing distance and everything...oh well...wut can u do.

LOL, I'm sure he was glad that he didn't have to explain it too me, because I'm not too sure he could have

My new job is alot better, because I am paid to be demeaning to those who think they are untouchable....mmmm...I like controlling bad peoples money...

hahahaha...niiiiiiiiiiiice.

i'm so glad i'm never gonna have a "job" ever again...such a pain in the *** dealing with incompetent full timers and equally incompetent clients while i wuz only a summer student.

i'm sooo friggin glad i get paid to go to skool...and make my own hrs...and make my own decisions for the most part...sure sometimes it ends up being 60-70 hrs/week, but sure beats dealing with a$$oholic creeps and incompetent bafoons.

It sure beats working at Environment Canada and having 1/2 psycho 1/2 genious scientists go into fits when they lost their wallpaper.

well here is the thing.... he was a customer.... my company installs fire sprinklers in homes and buildings. we needed to send him 2 replacement trim pieces that go around the sprinklers.. i think you guys took it as if he placed an order... he called me 4 days ago saying that 2 of our installers scratched the crap out of some of the trim, so i said ill send 2 more out to you asap, he said thank you and that was that

wow...u work for environment canada? for the fed gov? where do u work? and dont mock the mad scientists...we have feelings too u know ...but having fits when losing wallpaper is a bit much...however, having fits when losing ur only lab pen that works is acceptable

well, me thinx that he "could have/should have" been a tad more specific as to how it was shipped if he had such an issue with UPS..i know when i order shyt i make sure who the carrier will be up front and then make any changes accordingly..
