is it just me or is there tooo many tire kicker's on this site i have people calling me at all hours of the day asking for parts which i have no problem with this is what i do but when people call late at night or when im really busy and have a million questions which i don't mind either but its when these people call me and say "oh yeah i want it i need it asap can you deliver can you do this can you do that" and DON"T EVER CALL BACK OR SHOW UP i PLAN my day and when this happens it really messes up my day !!! i think i have been a nice guy and not posted in the buyer/seller feedback forum bad experiances but if this continues i will indeed please don't waste my time time is money




is it just me or do other people have these kind of problems ? please post here lets not mention names cuz thats not cool sometimes people have problems but it seems like 5 out of 10 people i have dealt with latley just **** me around IT'S NOT COOL

i have sold alot of stuff to a bunch of great people too not saying everyone is goofy but am i the only one who runs into so many problems maybe its the volume of stuff i sell ? i don't know

I just say if u need it that bad come get it, find a ride or whatever...or I'll meet you halfway...and they have always called and confirmed that they were on there way...its PMs that bother me...people say ya I want it blah blah and then nothin for days then they write back sayin they are gonna come get it but its too late cuz a "real" buyer already came and bought it

i seem to getpeople calling my cell and saying you have this you have that i say yes i tell em how much then i waste my time taking it off the car and waiting for the ill call you back tomorow at 6 and ill come get it and so i wait and **** nothing its happened like 4 times in the last week im not a rude person and i don't want a refund for my parts like why waste people's time

If they don't show, it not only waste your time, money etc. So give them some feedback, it will open their eyes and hopefully they wont be like that to you again or to anyone in general!

thank you for your advice Notorious i understand what the buyer seller feedback forum is for i take it people go strongly on what other people say "word of mouth right" i don't want to go bashing someone cuz they didn't show and find out later they had a good reason for not coming or calling back although i guess you are right thanks a phone call only takes 2 minuites. i dunno man

just remember tell the truth exactly as it happen ... along the lines of how long you waited and how early you showed and stuff...

I'd say it also has something to do with the volume of stuff your selling. So many people messaging, e-mailing and calling you, you don't really have a lot of time/patience with each "customer".
My suggestion would be posting a few things at a time, dealing with each customer accordingly, and then move on to the next set of goods.
I know it does suck when you organize a meet with someone and they back out, such a waste of time.

it's not the volume... I sell a few things a year and even then it's pure hell selling, esp being out of town.

also, when I buy, I mean... I won't buy just anything. I wanna make sure it fits, it's in good shape, and it's not a ripoff price. Ya know. I just bought new bumper lenses new, and they cost $18 total shipped, whereas ppl sell them for $20 used plus shipping. So you gotta inquire, research, then purchase.

I just believe that that larger volume of stuff being sold = larger amount of inquiries = lesser patience displayed by seller.

I have to agree with bbarbulo here.... volume is not the issue .... I've sold my set of shocks on here... and if I had 5 posts for every low ball offer I got and responded to via PM's I'd have a higher post count then Bruno...

seriously though there are people that must find it fun to waste peoples time. mind you when I sold my shocks I almost wasted the gentleman's time that came to get them because I got stuck on the TTC ... good thing my dad was around to get them and show them and take the cash.... hmmmm that reminds me I didn't get to see the cash ... hmmmm I have to go now... (I think thast what happens when you forget to pay your dad rent for 3 months )

i am not rude with people i may forget once in a while (sorry jason_alt) i deal with so many people one sunday afternoon from 2 - 6 my phone rang every ten minuites not a word of lie it was hilarious people round me didn't like it i couldn't have a conversation with friends of all those calls only one person actually called back and bought something for like 10 bucks everyone said they wanted something and and would call back and did call back to ask more questions and arrange a time to meet ( if im not meeting someone that day i will call the day of meeting to confirm or they call me ) but i got stiffed i wish i knew the name of the fawker who called me and said he was leaving right then he really needed a crx hood and door i had it i gave him the address of my shop and he never showed never came never answered his phone when i called 10 times i waited at my shop with no heat in -30 degree weather for 4 hours for him to show (if i ever find out who you are im ringing your ******* neck) another story !! lol i met this lady at a gas station in woodbridge she had a smashed 97 HB i told her who i was and what i do yada yada so i drove to stoney creek to see nick, get her bumper and hood (thanks for good deal on dented hood nick!!!)and drop off parts to him. tonight i went to install it for her i get to her house with mint bumper and a better hood than her folded one first off she says to me right off the bat my bumper looks fine i don't want another one (i was pissed but maintained my kiss *** attitude towards her) i look at her bumper and its cracked and gouged like id drive around with no bumper before i kept that **** so anyway i install the hood and tried to close it it wouldn't close her car is fucked its all pushed in and the lock didn't even line up so she asks me to re install the old hood after i stood there for an hour while her father in law (who didn't speak english) explaind why the hood didn't line up(keep in mind its minus 19) so then her husband comes out and starts talking to me and asks me to roll back the odometer on his 93 civ cuz he is selling it i said no thats illegal whats wrong with you so with her smashed car back together with smashed hood we go in the house and they said do you really want 50 bucks for the hood (had some dents and im perfections) i said yes and i want 30 bucks for my time and gas to drive to stoney creek and back and down to RH and home her husband takes me outside to put the hood in the garage he hands me 60 bucks and says ok bye and runs back in the house !!!! im like wtf im gettin jipped so im stuck with this bumper it cost me 200 to get the bumper and hood now im stuck with this bumper and 60 bucks WOW what a waste of time hope you all have a good laugh bout this one
