I'm electric!

No but seriously....

for like a year now, every day, every single thing that I touch, I get a shock.

Weather it is a BBQ, door handle, anything metal, it shocks me.

WTF is wrong with me!

Do you have a dog? Or lots of carpet in your house?

Sometimes when I drag my feet when I'm walking, and touch something I get the shock as well.

I also have a dog that sheds frequently. His fur gets all over my clothes and causes static when I'm moving around.

You should buy static guard, its a kind of spray you put on your clothes.

That may help.

seriously, there is no carpet here at work.

NONE.

Its all concrete or ceramic tile.

I have no carpet at home as its either hardwood/slate/ceramic.

I thought maybe I was dragging my feet, but it wouldn't happen on concrete or anything?

I then thought it was all the under armour I wore, but it happens all the time when i'm not wearing it either.

****.

Any department store.

Wal-mart, Zellers, Canadian Tire, some major grocery store carries it as well.

It may be the shih-tzu rubbing on you as well.

the shih tzu is 15 years old and doesn't leave her bed, haha.

Haha, I don't think any of my co-workers would appreciate me walking around shocking all of them.

It freaking hurts when I touch the light switch in the bathroom and its like a double shock.

FAWK~

yea i hate electric shocks...they are ten times worse... when i jump on the buffing machine its like a carpet running through your hands very very very fast. theres really no escaping it, and then when i have to shut the machine down i literally have to slap it so i can ground out and hopefully not get shocked

It's your magnetic persona, fen.

Actually, I sympathize, have the same thing. Not in summer, but mainly in spring and fall.

Get a humidifier for your place....it must be too dry.

Humidity will decrease the chance of static electricity.
