hondasucks.ca insight parked at my school today

I go to sheridan college in oakville and when im pulling in I see that Honda Insight with the hondasucks.ca decals. I dont carry a digicam but of course I parked right beside it and took a picture with my phone.

I never did like the honda insights anyways.

Ah well, if I'm not mistaken that car was one of the first production hybrids. I guess you (Honda) learn from your (Honda's) mistakes right?

I hear where the guy is coming from, but he is a bit of an idiot...

-ALL car companies have lemons and cars that just suck, the difference between the Toyotas and Hondas is that they happen a lot less, but not 0

-it isn't exactly low kilometres we are talking about, he's at 150,000...its not high, but not low...

-sounds like the dealer he is taking incompetant...

I've always liked the idea of the Insight (and the looks also), but I'd never buy one, they rely on technology that hadn't been perfected quite yet...

nobody is forcing him to own it lol

most sensible people would try and sell the car or trade it in for something they DO like

Late last year I bought a 2006 Volkswagen Golf TDI which is my main driver due to reliabilty and saftey concerns with the insight. Since I have decided to proceed with a lawsuit against honda canada, the car has to stay

what grounds are you basing your lawsuit on?... if it met Canadian safety standards I really don't think you have any grounds,

I don't think a car manufacturer has any duty to offer you a "reliable"car....

am i right in reading that you paid 5g's for repairs, and honda covered the rest?

your site isn't too clear about it...

honestly if you had that many probs why didn't you just sell the damn thing after the first few problems?

that plus going through your list of repairs, you list "hood was hard to close" so you went to the dealer and had them adjust the hood latch and they charged you for labour?? 1 - if Ihad just bought the car and this was the prob, there is NO WAY IN HELL i would've paid for them to adjust the hood latch, and 2 - it's something i definitely could fix myself, and save myself a trip to the stealership..

over all i'm sure you've had a terrible experience, but hopefully other people learn from this to not buy brand new technology unless u have the money to back it, because stuff like this might happen... it's the risk of being an early adopter, and owning something quite rare...
