Hockey Referees !
Ok here's the story,
Tonight, I played my regular houseleague hockey game at saltfleet arena in Stoney Creek, ONT. It was the worst game ever. We had a short bench. We only had 7 skaters and 2 goalies.
The score was 3-0 for us in the third period. Our player got a penalty for goalie interference when he was on a breakaway. He wasn't to happy about that. So when he was skating off, he was saying **** to the ref, and then our coach told our player to shut up before he gets another penalty for mouthing off. He was kicked out.
So about 2 mins after that, 10:34 to be exact left in the game, a player on the other team put his stick up a players ***** on our team and our player went down. For some reason, they got match penalties, but since it was our players 3 penalty, he was kicked out.
So then, one of the players on the ice had to go in the bench for him to serve his first 2 min penalty. So I went into the box. But about 4 mins before this, one of players got a 2 min penalty. So that meant 2 players in the box. With 2 players kicked out, and 2 in the box, that means we only have 3 players on the ice. But we needed one more player on the ice because it was a match penalty. The thing was, we had no more players. So then the refs started saying that we needed to have players on the ice. So, then our coach came up with the idea of putting our goalie in the box, instead of me, cuz the goalie was on the ice as well. But the ref was a faget and said no. So then the ref called the game and let the other team win.
EVEN THOUGH THE SCORE WAS 3-0 ! ! Our team was really pissed and so was I. I threw my stick infront of the ref and said play the ******* game, its houseleague, were not in the NHL *******. He then started skating away, our whole team skated after him and slamming there sticks on the ground for a congrats to a ref that called a houseleague game. When he was walking to his dressing room, I was slamming my stick against the glass beside him. He look at me and stared at him. I was getting off, not saying anything, and he looked at me and said "tough guy, what u gonna do, what u gonna do, uhuhuhuhuhh", so then i tried to run at him but my players held me back. Our coach was then really pissed off, and he kicked a garbage can and garbage went flying everywhere.
We were then in our dressing room and then the convenor came into our room saying, "who threatened the referee?" We said "what the hell are you talking about, dont accuse us of any **** like that, get out", He then said " if no-one lives up to it, i will suspend the captain for 3 games" We then all started yelling and cursing at him, and then our coach then said "GET THE **** OUT NOW ! " and then he slammed the door with the convenor trying to hold his ground. Lets just say the convenor TRIED to hold the door, but failed horrible and went flying. 
We then cleaned the garbage after to be nice. We tried waiting for the ref outside but it didn't work, cuz he didn't come out (*****). How is it possible we were winning 3-0 and we lost ? and the scored stayed 3-0 ! THAT IS BULLSHIT. Tell me what you think. ******* REFS

ya i know, but this isn't the first time this ref has done something stupid like this. He tried to fight my buddy in the paking lot before. HE IS FUCKED AND LOOKS LIKE A TROLL !

lol, some refs are just asses.
when i played in house league this punk *** ref tried to start a fight with another player on my team! he actually CAME to our bench and was like "you wanna go tough guy??"!! hahaha, that was the highlight of the night to be sure.
anyway, tough luck about losing your game. oh well, i'm sure the other team cant be too pleased about winning the way they did.

i can't believe that happened, what a waste of your $ for icetime. I'd be pissed. I can't say how many times I've had to deal with conflicting "play with it"/"NO! hold onto it" from refs and my coaches EVERY game. i mean i have to acomadate the refs, and I have to accomadate my coach, but come on, LET ME READ THE DAMN SITUATION, that's what I came here for!

Here are the suspensions:
The guy that got the goalie interference penalty got 3 games:
1 game - couldn't serve 10min penalty
2 games - Game misconduct
Our coach received 5 games:
3 games - Gross misconduct
1 game - Abuse Facility (Garbage Can Bullshit)
1 game - Abuse Official (BullSHIT)

It's a houseleague game, there are rules. Don't fight with passion, go find the league rule books and see if they're wrong.
If you're wrong, just make sure your team comes out next time.
If you're right, go speak with the convenor and get that ref fired.
But if it explicitly states your situation as a rule, then look at it from the other teams perspective. If that happened to you (being down by 3 goals in the 3rd period and having a chance to get a win on a technicality), you would want to win by default, right?
