Greek and Turkish planes collide

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/5008178.stm

This is another instance on Turkey's aggresive way's to the countries around it! Cyprus and Turkey have been at war since 1974, Last year we were awoken by airraid sirens. There is no way to explain what it is like waking up at 5 am'ish and having to get dressed into your gear and grab your gun from your closet not knowing what's going to happen, as you make your way to meet up with your assigned squadren.

this thread isn't going to get locked it's just Joonya whoring the board.

I am aware that many of you don't know what goes on, in our parts of the world, and that's why I posted it. You see if Greece decide to take military action, it would affect me as I would be sent to war.

(OK, I'll keep it polite so I don't get my posts removed again.)

They have forced conscription in Greece?

Why don't you just come to Canada, you're thread is confusing. Aren't you from Canada anyway?

If Greece doesn't approve of Turkey's lack of respect for Cyprus, perhaps Greece should reconsider accepting Macedonia's greater historical boundaries.

Turkey is not liked very much by any European country.

Even a lot of Muslim countries do not like them.

Turkey is the only Muslim majority country in the world to produce ****. haha

What is sad is that most wars or disagreements of countries do not really represent the views of the majority of the people.

I do not believe most Americans are war mongering idiots who would readily bomb other countries and kill innocent people for money.

I do not believe more Iranians think the jews are the scum of the earth and all non-muslims should wear identifying arm bands.

I do not believe most Germans in 1935 wished to have all the Jews eradicated.

I do not believe most children with the internet reading about how to make bombs would want to make them with malicious purpose.

If governments were representitive of their people, I don't think the Earth's population would be anywhere near 6 billion.

Although I do not feel anything negative towards any specific individual, I have a lot of negative thoughts towards specific groups based on their conduct and beliefs.

We're all capable of great good and love, we're all capable of great evil and destruction.

I pretty much hate all political parties because they are all after greedy self serving ends, yet, I do not blame them.

The only answer is one world, one nation, one government, one people.

We need to remove religion from all government, we need to remove all government from group representation, and one day, maybe we won't all kill eachother.

Until that day, to hell with all those groups and the innocent ones in the way.

I'm not in Canada presently, I've come to Cyprus for now. Greece and Cyprus are as one (really, really long story to explain the diff., they are 2 countries though). In Greece and Cyprus we have manditory army, I served many years ago, BUT, every male once they finish their tour, is given a machine by the ministry of defence for emergency situation's kind of like last night. See Cyprus and Turkey have been at war since 1974, we do have a seize fire agreement, but some problems do arise. The population of Cyprus is 700 000 today with about 150 000 refugees thanks to Turkey's military occupation. Turkey's pop. is over 73 million. Cyprus is smaller than Coneticut (sp) but is very stratigically important, it is just north of the Suez, west of Isreal, Lebenon and Syria by 80k and 40k south of Turkey. All spy comunication's that are used to spy on the Arab nation's are based off of the English base's and American "radio" Station.
