Good wireless mice setups

Im sick and tired of my Wirless Optical Intellimous Explorer. The batteries last like a week and a half maximum before the unit gets very sluggish and starts to stop responding to movements.

I have also tried an older logitech wireless optical and it too was giving me problems. It was jerky, and woulnd't wake up very easily, I had to click either mouse button a couple times to wake up.

So who makes a good wireless optical mouse?

is it optical or ball?

is the mouse rechargable (sits in a cradle) or just stand alone

I have the dell optical one as well, didnt come with the cradle, i am quite happy with it, i charge the batteries (panasonic rechargeable) once a month, i have been using the mouse for around two years now and havent had any problems, actually underneath the mouse it says logitech, so i am guessing they make mice for dell.

its optical.
doesnt come with a cradle or anything.
its just a mouse with a battery inside it.
the one that is supplied with it is non rechargable i believe.
honestly i think this is the best mouse i have ever used in a very long time and personally for the price you cant be beat.
no point in spending money on logitec and all that other name brand hype for no reason.
dell cheap and good.

I switched from using a wireless optical\laser mouse back to a wired version. So many problems with specifically the Logitech ones. Even there most expensive model I believe it is the G7 has given me problems. Batteries die too fast, double clicks stopped working, driver issues. There are so many problems with the logitechs if you go on there website and read the forums you will never want to buy one again.

If your using your computer for just browsing and not gaming\production etc then they are good, but as soon as you start trying to take advantage of the so called "Features" its a headache.

If I had to get one I would just make sure it came with a docking station to charge the mouse. For an average user the G7 optical laser is probably still the best. Battery dies quick but it comes with two so you can just charge and change.

thats the mouse i use from my home comp/laptop, ocaisionally i'll still use my old mx500.

the mediaplay mouse is usally on sale from $70 to $40 w/ $20 MIR @ staples, so for $20 it's not a bad mouse.

matt MX1000 try that or reasearch on it, one of the best if not the best dpi for wireless (its laser not optical), and really good on battery, i am not sure but i think it comes with rechargable unit.

check it out all wireless mice from Logitech.
