wonder how many people know that Kodak invented digital imaging in 1981, and the same image capture technology is still used today (under license from Kodak). the original image sensor was 1.4MP.

then kodak doomed their own future for waiting indefinitely to catch the digital camera bandwagon and by the time they attempted to do it...it was already too late. same with Fuji....they thought film will never be out of fashion.

well for a general consumer yes...because digital makes everybody a pro...a bunch of yahoos running around with digital dslr cameras that have no clue how to use them but since everything is auto and there is no film to waste, WHO CARES!!!!!! like Nikon's ad campaign for the D40 "You First Digital SLR" might as well be a Fisher Price commerical haha...damn you cheap components and labour!!!!!!!

Nothing to do with you Kodak haters but I took the camera back. I forgot I had $75 in shoppers opt points and they had a deal on this weekend. I ended up with a cyber shot dsc s700 for $39.99+ tax after using my points and it's sale price.
