Funny Software Tricks

Just got this in an email...funny stuff and it works
MAGIC #1
An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the
Computer which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty

Cool...and
Unbelievable.... At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened !
TRY IT NOW ,IT WILL NOT CREATE " CON " FOLDER
MAGIC #2

For those of you using Windows, do the following:

1.) Open an empty notepad file

2.) Type "Bush hid the facts" (without the quotes)
3 .) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
MAGIC #3

Open Microsoft Word and type

=rand (200, 99)

And then press ENTER

Then see the magic...

the bush hid the facts just turns into little boxes...

the con thing works...

the =rand thing works with any numbers.... havne't figured out the significance yet... you can do =rand (1, 1) and it'll do the same thing...

still cool... I really wanted the bush hid the facts thing to open some story book or something lol

the coordinates on the "= rand" thing just tells words how many lines you want of the sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." and how many times you want it to appear on the screen

=rand (1,1) will return
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

=rand (3,3) will return
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

=rand (2,3) will return
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

and so on

i KNEW i saw that phrase somewhere before. in my bathroom reader, it says:

The French typing equivalent of "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is "Take this old whiskey to the blonde judge who's smoking a cigar".

uses all the letters of the alphabet.

this is what i got from an online translating website

Take this old whiskey to the blonde judge who's smoking a cigar
Prenez ce vieux whisky au juge de blond qui fume un cigare

it's still missing a "t" though...unless you use cigarette instead of cigar?
