I can't agree more...I mean I use to surf tsr back in the day...and I mean they woudl tell stories of blockign off traffic on a highway to do runs... I mean it's jstu so stupid especially in town...I mean there will always be the odd guy here and there racing late at night on the highway or on a back road but organised stuff with tons of peopel is just so stupid...and most the times it's jsut ****ty 17 sec cars that are blasting around...or a eg with a b16..woooo sooo fast... I mean they always so "they keep shutting down our tracks"..there is nowhere to race" well..guess what there isn't gonan be a track open 24 7 right next door to your house **** face if your a real car guy you will drive 3 hours to go tear the **** outta your car to see how she runs against "real" cars...like 4 years ago tsr was like the only site and there were like 50 guy's on there..then F&F came out and every kid took out a loan to get a civic and started racing..mind you they didnt' even know it existed before they saw the movie...

I mean have you saw that "outlaws unleashed" on DTV it's so gay..all it is is honda's that are **** rice boxes...the fastest car was liek a b16 eg...gay..all had wings and **** I mean the whole thing is so bate...the "street racing" thign became so bate long ago and so pointless..dudes that use to race grew up and got real cars and raced at tracks or jsut grew up period and got a life...surk on tsr and look at the threads...all it is is a bunch of guy's fighting over how fast cars are flame wars and such..goes to show hwo gay they really are...

My parents new house has an airstrip in the backyard.. should use that. keep it off the roads. The only problem is from the hanger and out onto the field, is mostly mud and the strip itself is just a light grass.

meh just another bit of mis information by the media... 'they have lightweight aluminum engines' and some even have *gasp* 'custom intakes' ....

I agree that streetracing is a problem and needs to be dealt with but the media giving everyone the idea that just cuz it's an import makes it a racer is BS....

The only place for this type of S**T is on a drag strip. There you have documented bragging rights. At the strip is where you see the "real" racers. Has no reason to be on the streets - all you need is one dumf**k to loose control and wipe into a crowd or into another car and it's game over..

I don't know about you.. but if your car is impounded.. it's not like you get money back from your insurance from it...

That's a lot of money to shell out again to buy a new car. Serves these kids right.

Remember... reporters are suppose to give you unbiased referent news and information... not be a expert in automobile modification.

No. You're car's impounded. You ain't getting it back for starters and secondly.. they don't take responsibility for what happens to your car in the lot.
