Feels soooo good!! ;-)
So last week (sunday) i signed up at the gym...the YMCA in guelph, which is huge and really nice. I went on tuesday because im off and then i went last night and really worked out...i was there for an hour working out then i went for a swim and relaxed in the hot tub for an hour and i fell soooooooooo great today. My legs are KILLING me and it feels sooo good. Some of you guys know i was in pretty good shape when i came home from florida last year and of course now having the "office job" hasnt been too kind to my figure so it feels great to be doing something about it. I wanna lose about 15-20 pounds in the next three months, and really get in shape again. Anyways im obviously new to working out, ive never had to before because i always had a very physical job....anyone with some advice for programs or good workouts or what i should do feel free to comment....(NEIL LOL)
*Note* I am NOT sensitive about my weight, i know im not fat, i just want to be in better shape so feel free to comment and i wont be offended...

thanks guys....one question...
the program that the trainers at the gym developed for me, only takes me like 20 minutes to do, it feels like im not really accomplishing anytihng when im there...is it possible that its not enough or do I not necessarily have to feel anytihng at the time in order to be getting results?

well most the time trainers have no idea what they are doing....they probobly have you on a 1-2 set per exercise full body..which is kinda gay...but what ever.....
My new 5 day split that is wokrign very nicely is as follows:
Monday
Legs/abs
squats
quad/Ham curls
calf raises
leg lifts
tuesday rest
Wednesday
Chest tri
Bench
Dips
fly's
thuresday
Back Bi
bench over rows
pull downs
bi curl (close grip)
bi curl with wrist upsidedown (works forarm like a bitch)
Friday
shoulder trap
military press
pull ups
shrugs
all have 8-10 reps with 3 sets each
if you are serious about building muscle this is more geared to that...

whatever u do, dont take suppllements.
for me ive noticed with supplements with diet pills, i can get depressed really easy.... even though some may say its true and its not for others, for me i became depressed or became easily....
so i dont take it, ive read up on it and it can cause you to get depressed, so DONT TAKE THOSE!
eat natural stuff, good healthy eating, cardio is a big plus as u may lose more fat then anything....... but im not saying you're fat im saying in general!
i noticed with pills, most of them contains ephedra.
which distorts your eating, makes your heat beat 100MPH and makes u sweat, thats why it works... its burning
good luck, id like to lose 15-20 pounds too!
im going to be running more and do more mountain biking!

Slowly increase your workout until you feel like that you've accomplished "something".
