I read CAR AND DRIVER, and MODIFIED MAG.
Modified has awsome photography, good articles, and VERY nice cars. I just wish they would give up the drag racing section!

Yeah i hate that drag racing artice also. I wish there was one mag with all suped up cars. N thats it. And girls. No event coverage. Well not a lot. Lets say 10 featured cars. 1 event. And model coverage. That would make a good mag. ANf super street. is a lot of money. and 2 many adds for me.

I would have to say Sport Compact Car (SCC) and Honda Tuning. Super Street is not bad and is alright if you want some humour. With the exception of the dyno-tests, Import Tuner is complete crap and I can't say I've ever been a fan of any of the Canadian magazines.

same here bruno, i thought i was the only one whop noticed...

SCC used to be awesome.... but then for like 6 months in a row the cover whas "WRX THIS, EVO THAT", "STI KILLER" blah blah.... they even had a stock evo road test 3 months in arow, i so wanted my money back!

i now stick to HCI, HondaTuning, ImportTuner, and Import Racer..... and i still have yet to see a Modified Mag on sale on US newsstands.....

On the bright side, Honda Tuning is published by the same good ppl that publish SCC, so it remains a solid read as far as I'm concerned, they are off the hook cuz they tweaked SCC to appeal to an older crowd (as well as rich asian HK immigrants LOL), and they put out a new mag specifically for us early-20s working stiffs.

-scc (i have all the older mags, but recently it has been sucking alot)
-honda tuning (it's pretty hype now, especially this months mag
-modified (pretty good, high quality, would even be better if they lost the drag racing ****)
-option 2 (just for the pics)
-super street (this month is alright, though they lack a lot of technical knowledge)

lets just say i read a lot of car mags.


mags i don't like include:

pas mag (i paid for a year subscrption back at the first import fest, i have yet to recieve a mag)... the magazine is nice and thick, but to be honest it is very boring, they have no opinions, one big advertisement

car and driver, motor trend, road and track... any of those mags i don't like much... but this is comparing them to those uk car mags and asian car mags
