the thing i found with his show is that it was usually in the mornigns on the way to work or school so in that time i usually caught dull rambling.... no regrets on getting XM instead of sirius

opie and anthony are funnier and i enjoy listening to them more
(xm radio morning show)

but i still have a problem only catching rambling on the way to work...

moe, i'd say price point/ and which unit you decide to purchase is what will decide for you, both offer pretty much the same stuff.

you really cannot go wrong with either choice.

all he does is ramble, no music unless he has a band in the studio. he is vulgar and very crude. but i guess whatever floats your boat right.

I will be shoping for a sirius radio soon enough...

howard...rules...and btw opie and anthony are just cheap copies of stern like the restof the morning shows.

i'm a fan, i have been downloading the show and listening to it the next morning on an mp3 player with headphones, so i can hear it in my work van, and whenever i have to stand around waiting. being able to pause and fast forward is very nice, even if the show is a day old, it's still funny. i am glad that we can finally legitimately get the show in canada, but it's gonna be hard to give up the portability.

ok, i just got a sirius radio.. and it rocks!

nevermind howard stern. even if you hate him you'd probably love this radio. it has way better music than on the radio station, and no commercials, plus lots of talk, news, comedy, etc.

the Stern show now replays in the afternoon, so people who aren't awake for it can hear it later.. and soon the 2nd channel will be available here (3 weeks) with other interesting stuff.

plus, i got the "sportster replay". press pause and it will record up to 44 minutes to replay to you, perfect for when i go on deliveries and don't want to miss something.. and it automatically starts recording whenever you start listening to a channel so you can rewind in it, which is also awesome.

i'm working on a DIY for installing it to look decent... it's pretty easy with a 7thgen, the weather stripping around the window lets you tuck the wire in without problems.

Sup man, which kit did you buy? You have to register it in the states or something right, to get stern? Or I heard I have to get the U/S sirius, can't remember. Fill me in with all of the info, I want to pick this **** up

thx

P.S can it be hooked up to a stock honda radio cd deck?

this is the one i got, but the price is wrong here, because it was $30 cheaper (same price as Best Buy).

and no, you don't need to register in the states! stern is here in canada, and the 2nd channel is coming in 3 weeks (as well as playboy channel and 8 more new channels). i'm kinda annoyed though, from the site you would think the 10 new channels were already here, but not till late June.. misleading jerkwads. at least they are coming soon.

here is the music list: http://siriuscanada.ca/chan_mus-e.htm
and here is the full channel list: http://siriuscanada.ca/Channels-e.htm

you can either get the line-input adaptor, there are several you can buy out there, but don't pay more than like $60 (overpriced at that) or you can just use the built-in FM transmitter.

I've had Sirius since January. It is awesome. You have access to pretty much any song ever made and the sports and comedy are amaxing.
