im getting an exotic or a bently for my wedding.

my g/f can justify $3000 for a dress she will use once, so i can justify the same for a car for a few days.

how do women justify the diamond they want is what i would like to know.

especially knowing how they were gotten, and who they purchase of supports..

Nobody with expensive jewellry can logically say they really care about starving children.

the only thing Im going to say on this diamond thing is, you guys pay for it once, we have to wear it for the rest of our lives, so of course we want it to be nice, it's not just a one time wear for us.

I fully support the idea of having a nice ring, but that doesn't mean it has to cost a small fortune. I hear all the time two months salary. If i was working and not a poor student two months work would be about 6g's. Do you honestly think that a 6g ring is neccessary versus a 1g ring?

I can honestly say, my engagement ring cost my husband more than 2 months salary.

He was unemployed at the time. The ring cost $200. I could care less.
