I think NASA is a huge waste of government money and it could be spent in much better areas than a couple cool pictures... how about housing for the poor... how many millions of americans are starving and out on the street and the government puts a priority on missions to space and learning about planets which we will never be able to live on...

I Strongly disagree....many of those idiots bring that **** upon themselves...and don't help themselves......u house them......okay..........what?......are they gonna get a job.......not likely.....there gonna slack off......most are too set in there ways already............although there are decent homeless people out there....who are really worth the money to spend to get them to rejoin normal societal functions

the Space organization is just trying to better us.......we are trying to learn more....strive for more........don't u strive for more in ur life?....don't u want a better car?........don't u want better things?............Nasa in a sense is like human curiosity and that strive for that extra want............

I went there when I was in florida at the age of 8, I still remember it, found a possum in a trash can there, it hissed at me. Anyways ya its pretty cool that they landed on mars successfully, every little bit helps in space travel, I heard on the radio they sent up (or are going to send) a space probe to collect space dust from behind meteors to study the creation of the universe, pretty interesting stuff.

Gov't spending help boost the economy, no matter what the money is spent on. Boosting the economy indirectly helps the poor actually get off their *** and find jobs. If they don't wanna do that, then who cares... fawk them.

Well that's really not the point... It's hardly the same in the USA as it is here... Sure there are people who are addicted to drugs and won't use help in a productive way no matter how hard anyone tries...

However there are a lot of people who fall on hard times and were only making $5.50/hr anyways and we unable to save anything b/c they weren't makin $hit in the first place.
