I was just curious, being of a particular background, do you find that it favours the type of women/men you are attracted to?

I'm Italian and tend to favour (usually) Mediterranean women. Nice olive skin, blue/green eyes, dark curly hair, with some nice curves.

Just wondering what everyone else's preference is. I have a class on different cultural values/ethics/morals between west/east/north/south type stuff, not going to bore anyone with specifics, so I am curious to see how true what I am learning is.

im not specifically attracted to one specific race, religion, or ethnicity. ive had gf's that where white, light skin, olive, italian, english, trini, i dont think attraction can be accuratly based on those terms if your honestly looking for a serious long lasting relationship.

Not really into Spanish though (I am Spanish). But I keep an open mind.
Come to think of it being Spanish is white. lol Spanish is almost like a human rainbow. lol

I think that Terry is right, in a way. Sometimes, it's the most unlikely person that you can find attractive, and not based on some pre-meditated idea. Men (women, too) usually have their 'ideal' of what they would like--occasionally, it's what they get, and on occasion, it's the opposite. Whether the "like attracts like" theory or the "opposites attract" theory is true--difficult to say. People are complex.

In reality, the idea of a pre-conceived notion of a 'type' can be debated 'til the cows come home. It's a good topic for discussion, and obviously there's no shortage of viewpoints.

Attraction is a mysterious thing.

i used to strictly be attracted to white guys. then i dated a few and wasnt attracted to them anymore at all. and then i was attracted to my own kind (korean). then i dated a few and wasnt too pleased with them either. and now i have a smokin hot chinese bf and DAYAM is he hot! u know u have a hot bf when your aunts and uncles come up to u so impressed and saying "you're bf is very good looking"

i will date any good looking girl as long as she isnt a black girl, i dont find them attractive at all...

But in the long run (thinking way ahead haha) i would never want to have a mixed or mulatto child

I guess i'm like a typical guy, but I like blondes with blue eyes preferebly (but doesn't matter 100%). I like a girl with a nice bum and a nice face. I prefer "cute" over amazingly hot. Amazingly hot women tend to be stuck up *****es. Cute girls seem to be cool and willing to laugh at my stupidity.
