Taken from today's Metro newpaper.
Police will attempt to Eliminate Racing Activities on Streets Everywhere. (ERASE)
Police and the after-marker auto industry estimate that there are more than 20,000 vehicles in the GTA that have been modified for use in street races.
All those stickers add so much hp. I guess since I put APC "RACING" pedals on my dads car, it is now considered one of the 20,000!

I have seen street races, but they involved more DSM, Porsches, Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes than anything else.... There was one Integra Type R, and a few swapped Civics, one Golf VR6 turbo... they were all running 11s on the street. This was in a place far far away, maybe not even in Ontario...

it's just a way for them to make more cash... there are other things that are more dangerous (fatality speaking) than racing, there have been 4 deaths in 3 years? as opposed to other things... there've probably been more deaths bungee jumping than that!
and you know with that 20,000 they mean everyone that has put even ONE aftermarket thing on their car, not even a part, a sticker, hell maybe aftermarket cd players add hp too!

Thats why I said, with the "Racing" APC pedals, my dad is now a street racer.
Maybe he should call the insurance company and ask what his rates will increase by if he gets "racing products" on his car?
It is a 93 Si hatch afterall- one of the more popular "street race" cars.

huh ? street racers? I think they are a group in hiding out due to presecution... only time I saw a street racer the car was embedded so far into a wall only the back bumper was out .... then again I never saw the people that were in the car so maybe the car was the street racer.... makes ya think doesn't it?

come to brampton that where the fast racers are...good damn seems odd how this ERASE is coming out with fast and furious...hummmm.....**** the police....i'm just gonna get harrased for no good reason....stupid cops why dun they waste there time doing better thing liek plp on highwasy doing 180 or drunk drivers..there are MANY worse things out there....what a waste of my money....

and another thing i am sick of retards blamming accidents and **** on street racing..sure maybe a small percentage are caused by idiots racing on main roads...but cars crash..ppl can't drive period...stop blamming it on street racing..if u think 2 high school kids racing down a main road and crashing is street racing ur messed..and haen't seen a real race....
