Ebay

so i'm browsing ebay.. and i kinda want to get a screen in my car...
so when looking at the pioneer avic N1 a couple people say email me for whatever price... so i emailed one guy and he said 400 US and if i purchase within the next 24 hours i get free shipping to canada... so this is awsome.. how can you go wrong.. but when its not through ebay can you trust them?
Because if i can get an Avic N1 right now for 400 ( approx 480 Can) with shipping BRAND NEW i will buy it.. you wont get a better deal on andash 7 nich touch screen with Navi for north america.....

so is this trustable or what heres the emails:

Hi sir. This GPS is new in my hand. I make a research for Pioneer in this moment and if I can sell a few GPS in a short time I will be the biggest Pioneer dealer from here. That's why I have this price for my GPS. The buy it now price is $400. If you buy in next 24 hours shipping will be free. So please tell me if you want it.

I agree with Younes Si and Bruce, check the feedback. I have many times sold things on E-bay and bought. If an item does not sell, I have e-mailed the person and offered them or negotiated a price and vise versa.

i bought my susp from ebay and got a great deal on it, both sellers had 99% feedback with 9000 responses so i viewed it as safe. i wouldn't have bought them if feedback was low or only like 3 responses.

why would it not be through ebay? tell him you want to purchase from an auction, price may go up by $20 to cover his fee's, but then its legit with proof of purchase

Hey V8Hunter .. honestly by the looks of that message he sent you its worded a lot like how one of those Nigerian Scams is worded. Very Bad english, and they always start off by saying "Hello Sir, HI SIR, ETC and that purchasing within the next 24hr sounds fishy as well. Ask him what kind of payment he accepts. If its Western Union or anything like that then STAY AWAY from it. The safest way to pay is Via Pay-Pal using your credit card. Reason being, if your scammed you can call your Credit Card Company and have them do a charge back and refuse the charge. I've had to do this once on E-bay and will not pay any other way other then with a service that charges my Credit card.

It is a SCAM for sure if you do it outside of ebay he can take your money and run with no problems, also a N1 cost is not even that low he would have to be selling it to you with hundreds of dollars loss. I don't think anyone would do that, also it doesn't matter how many good comments he has the people he rips off outside the ebay structure can't leave feedback. So he treats everyone on ebay like Kings and Queens so that he can look good to rip off everyone else.

DO NOT TRUST!!! it is not worth the risk

next guy says the same thing
First I want to tell you that my systems are brand new, unopened box all listed accessories included and also an international warranty. The invoice will come at the same time with the package.
My buy it now price is the best you could get: 500usd/unit, including the shipping and insurance taxes. We will pay them because the package will be delivered from Europe. As delivery service we use UPS2daysair service (with insurance and 15 days return policy), because it's the faster. And if you will have a quick payment, we must also have a quick delivery. So that's why we use as a payment method Western Union money transfer, the fastest and also very secure way of sending money. So, if you agree with my terms I'm sure that we can close the deal as soon as possible.
Waiting your quick answer right now

jus wondering.. why not pay by western ( even though i'm' not gonna go with this)

Ok, I misread your first post. I thought it was someone's auction that had no bids and ended and you had e-mailed him about selling it to you anyways and he responded.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that either.

Tell him to go **** himself and you hope he gets his skull run over by an 18 wheeler after finding out his has HIV and advanced prostate cancer.

i promise you it's a scam.

google -> "western union scam"

they get very creative too. my friend did something like this... he asked me what I though and from the get go i said 'sounds like a scam'.. he went through all this other ****... and guess what.. he lost $3000. He even changed the name of the person the money was for with western union. if you want to do anything, you have to get a lawyer involved in europe.

if you don't want to email him that, send me his email, i'll do it for you. you can also just sign him up for tons of **** and spam all over the web. spend 30 minutes signing up his email. he'll be trashing it anyway, but at least you'll **** him off.

i can send you a mailbomber if you want too.

send him 3000000 emails/day saying you hope [insert whatever disgusting evil thought you have]
