Done your taxes yet??

Anybody?

I just filed mine 5 minutes ago.

For all those that want a nice, cheap solution to doing your taxes...check out www.ufile.ca

I've used this site for 3 years now and it is really good.

...cost is $12.95 and literally only takes minutes.

I live with one too, but I figure the last thing that she wants to do when she gets home is more of this BS.

It's like me coming home and her making me...um...what the hell do I do again? Oh yeah...its like me coming home and her making me post on TCC

I did mine this morning and I get $256 back. The best thing to do is buy Quicktax and split it between 5 people, that way you only pay $10 and you get your return in 2 weeks.

ya, they don't send you a cheque for anything under a certain amount. forgot what it was, but your tax guide should tell you...

yup, RRSP's are very very important... save lots of taxes that way... also donating money is good to... their's lots of ways to save on taxes =)

yeah, I tell yeah, if you cut short your spending and invest in RRSP while you are young, my boss showed me the numbers and if you every want to be rich, holy crap!

The difference a few years in age makes is incredible.

Think triangle.

yeah thats true... here's an example

assuming for both case A and case B interest on the principal is 10% compounded annually

case A) person invests 2000 dollars annually from age 18 to age 25 then stops adding money to the fund and just lets it grow.

case B) person invests 2000 dollars every year from age 26 to age 65 does not invest before that.

again assuming both get 10% interest compoundeed annually every year. the person with more money at age 65 is the Case A... with over 1 million dollars too. it's very interesting
