Somehow one of the pics on 256Sd card have become read only. Not thats it should effect it but it was one I took at the club on staturday night. So, any ideas how to make this file not read only then i could earse it!

pop it into windows, change it from read only.

or you can format the card with your cam...

i can copy it onto the computer but the file remains on the card, so that doesn't work. Formating the card is my last resort cuz last time i formatted i lost a meg of space So, i don't want to try that again without due reason.

can you plug it in via USB and view it as a drive on your computer?

copy the files from your card to your computer...you may have been reading them straight from the camera...causing the read-only to come up.

when you copy it to the computer, does it still come up read-only?
check some of the menus on the camera, maybe you locked yourself out from the images...
