What about Tutoring? Maybe some extra help will be beneficial so that you can pass the test.

are you actually putting effort into school or just slacking off?

if you're really trying your best but still cant pass then thats' one thing, but if you're not trying and failing that's a whole different story.

but dont worry about your parents, they want you to succeed more than anything else. they're just trying to get you motivated that's all.

I know I can..

Be what I wanna be..

If I work hard at it.

I'll be where I wanna be.

Really like that song.

Your parents want a better life for you than they had.

That's why they push so hard.

My folk's did the same when I was young and I hated them for it.

But as you get older you realize that they are your best friends.

Noone ever will look out for you more than family.

They want to see you make something of yourself.

Be a man, admit your shortcomings and work on it.

You can do it..

Are you actually trying in class or are you slacking off? Passing the reading and writing exam should be just like passing any other exam in your high school. How hard can it be? Unless of course you really are slacking off.

Do you try?

The Unionized Construction workers make a fair amount of cash. The non-unionized ones don't.

You have to work for about a year or so in order to be part of a union...

It's not a bad job I guess. If you like hard work, and know that its the only way that you will make some money in life, then go for it.

yeah thats true about the union stuff ... personally in one year working at my job I never saw an increase like they do going from non union to unionized... they make between 30 and 60 an hour depending on position ... if your not afraid of hieghts become a crane operator ...thats where some good money is

Usually the really grunt work jobs make more than you do.
1. Because they're unionized.
2. Because they're grunt work.

Garbage collectors probably make 3 times as much as you do. But would you honestly want to be collecting garbage all day?

If you do, than the jobs for you. If you don't, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Construction workers usually have rough hands and they have their downfalls too. Desk workers have theirs also.

Every job has pros and cons.
