D Link wireless router question
Hey Guys:
D Link DI-714P (Wireless router/printer)
Got wireless router working (email and WWW)
Installed print server
Will not print! Brother HL-1435...
Any ideas?

You need to remove that printer and reinstall it as a network printer.
You aren't printing cause you are using the old settings.
Is there a reset or diag switch that when you hold it down a settings page is sent to the printer?
Are you using static ip or DHCP?

The 714P is the one with the printer port at the back of it...
Make sure you've set up the printer to print using a network printer and not a local printer... cuz the printer is no longer local.
Try deleting the printer off your computer.. and reinstalling it as a network printer.

Did that myself

audiophilia .... sorry dude wish I could help but i hate guessing over the net so I ain't going to ... and since I lack a set of wheels at the moment going to your place and fixing the issue for you I cannot do...... wish I could help but without wheels it ain't happening

Can anybody walk me through the Network printer setup? I have to name the printer and my name is incorrect -- get the red X...
