So who's going?


Other than me? Tomorrow is qualifying, took the day of to attend, and got seats for Sunday's downtown coarse! It's going to be good this weekend, Cyprus's coarse is really tough and everyone was set up for the usual Too ******* Hot and dry/dusty climate but it rained today. So nobodies really set up right, their all in pits changing car setups!
So far this year I've been to the Monaco Grand Prix, the Rally Acropolis, Turkey's F1 and now the Cyprus Rally!

May I express my being green with envy at your attending both the Monaco and Turkey F1 GPs...I've only been to Mtl, and it was an experience I'll shall not soon forget. Must've been incredible times for you, Rice Burner.

Oh man that's so awesome. I've been following the 2006 WRC. I'll just be downloaded it and watching it in my living room, on my TV, a few days after the race

The last one was in Japan! Now Cyprus...should be a great rally.

Just got home took some pics, it was ******* hot! 40 degrees! will post pics later. Been to the Mtl F1 when I was there 3 times and every cart from 93 till 02, been to Daytona as well and attended Las Vegas Sema show, all expenses paid for Next year I think I will go to Italy's F1, Hungary's and maybe jolly old England!

I meant to ask the city...my bad. By the way RB..which city you are from on the turkish side? I have been to the Turkish side and have visited Famagusta, Girne and few other towns. still have sweet memories...

Cyprus is the last country in the world to have a divided capital city! This is thank to the Turkish Military occupation of the Northern Half of Cyprus! Turkey to this day still defies U.N. rule's/orders to withdraw! We are still tech. at war with a seize fire agreement! Though the last 2 years there have been great strides in relations we are still oppressed! Cyprus population is about 750k. about 140k of Turkis Cypriot. Turkey has illigally sent their scum to occupy stolen properties in the north. This is against U.N. resolution. I won't get into it in this thread maybe I'll start another! Just know that I am a refugee in my own country, and that you entered not only illigally Cyprus, but all countries with the exception of Turkey recomend not to go to the north. There are no hospitals it is militarily controled and if they through you in jail you would have been screwed, as there are NO embassy,consulates for any country!

I'm in Cyprus! There is only 1 Cyprus, though half of it is Occupied by Turkish Military! ILLIGALLY! Please don't give them the benefit of the doubt that there is 2 sides, or a north and a south. There is one Cyprus, which we want to re-unit, but Turkey will not withdraw if military occupation. Cyprus went through and is going through what India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka suffered. I'm sure you know how much your ancestors suffered so I'm sure you can understand

I wish I was staying in Australia another month since Rally Australia is coming at the end of the month to perth...those costal mountain roads are the sh*t!!!!
