Custom Computers?

Does anyone know of any good places that I could get a computer built from? I know of Canada Computers and Dell, Does anyone know of any reputable places that have really good prices and quality prodaucts? And a decent warranty.

thanks

Joker

Build it yourself! That way you're sure of what's going in there.

IMHO, as for buying new systems, Quality, Warranty and Services are far more important than anything else!

Just my 2 cents!

What's wrong with intel!?!? Besides being overpriced?
Next thing you're going to tell me is that Microsoft is crap.

The way I look at it...

Comparing Intel and AMD is just like comparing between Toyota and Honda.

They both have good quality and support. At the same time, they are kinda targeting for 2 slightly different groups of users.

Some observations...
from my previous job...Testing, QA and Support Software Apps...
10/10 are documented and certified for Intel based processors.
But may be only 2/10 have ever tested/certified for an AMD based systems.

There are actually some payroll software in the market are refusing to provide support for AMD based system.

IMO, I think for gamers...Nothing beats the AMD CPU. But if you're running server. Intel is the way to go!

BTW, I have a Linux box is running on AMD CPU. It works okay but not as good as my Intel!

Hi Joker,
I have only one friend who bought from MDG, He said it is okay if you pick your own specific components and have them custom built for you. But the price has go up a little bit due to more expensive components.

They have a web site too, you can actually "choose/configure" what's inside!

http://www.mdg.ca

Hope the above info. could help!

regards,
