castro is the man. i respect him so much.

his brother isn't the same person.. his brother is really strict and a hardcore commie.... whereas castro is more of a socialist...

When I was in Cuba this year, I obviously spoke to a few Cubans. They seemed to think that when Castro kicks off, that the USA and many European countries that own property and resort there will take over. Before Castro came into power, the US ran that country. It was a haven for rich Americans and Mobsters. I went on a tour of Capone's home.

Just like when the Berlin Wall came down.

The Americans will probably see it as an opportunity to come in and F**k it up like they did with Jamaica (Refering to the IMF, which really is the US).

I think when Castro kicks the can his brother will take over... it will be only the second peaceful handover of a dictatorship in history, the first being North Korean's Dictatorship turn over.

Castro has done alot for this country, I have a ton of respect for him, simply because he stands up for his country and doesn't let super powers push him around.

Will his brother be any good for the country? I have no Idea. but Cuba is a simple place and I truly hope the Americans don't try to **** with it.

lol you guys all speak so well of fidel, how about talking to some cubans that live there? one of my best friends is from cuba, and after talking to them for a while you realize why they're dancing in the streets hoping that Fidel will die.

Might be great for us looking in from the outside to say what a 'great' guy he is, but try living their your whole life, being fed propaganda, forced to do what your gov't wants you to do, and being isolated from the world, and see how much you like it then.
