My insurance SKY ROCKETED
and i don't know if i can afford it anymore its a long story (mainly their fault but they won't own up and instead **** me over with everyother company)

soooo...
i gotta think long and hard on what im going to do i want to keep it but if i do then i might not be able to afford the insurance unless i get Fulltime at sobeys (which is what the CAW wants to do but don't know when that will happen) or HOPEFULLY i get the job at Johnston Controls (which is what i REALLY WANT )
but....
if none of that happens then i got my other choice leave it in my garage and just do the payments and don't drive it and just dump that extra money that im not spending on insurnace into mods.
OR
sell it and get a 4thgen and drive that till im 25 when rates come down for me...
i don't know what to do this sucks

Well, I can totally feel ya pain...even myself, I am way over 25 but still get a phone call from my insurance saying that my car is at high risk group (4th Gen! yeah right!:fustrated ). They warn if I have any claim within the next 3yrs....I will be in trouble (drop me out).

I only have one at fault claim in the past 13 years...now they still pick my a$$ to kick! :cry: I don't even have a ticket!

yeah like i have a clean record no crashs no tickets
and they fucked me cause i missed on payment and they said to give them 1000 up front for the rest of the year i said ok
and my mom gave them her visa number to take the payment and id pay her back (which i did and FAST the fasted i ever paid anything too) and they said they called back like 3 days after my mom gave them the her visa number but no one called at all
no messages nothing and then i get a letter saying that YOUR FUCKED basically cause they didn't take my mom and i have been driving around without insurance for the last 3 weeks

That's stupid, they shouldnt make you pay extra money up front, i've missed one payment and i just had to bring a cheque by the office, and i think technically you have a one month grace period if you miss your payment that your insurance still continues, it's only if you don't pay up before that month is over that your insurance is expired.... what company are you with cuz the sound like a pure rip.....

1sicsol hook me up with your broker too? if he's any good, i miss driving my car i'm in the same situation as him can't afford insurance 430 a month is just too much......... stupid high risk age bracket!
