who has been to costa rica?

what did you do for nightlife... and what "adventurous" exploits do you now have?

i am thinking of going.

i'm gonna go with the woman somewhere.... cuba is too casual, and cancun is too much...

dominican hit the spot for me, right in the middle not as lifeless as cuba, and not as fast paced as cancun, it was perfect for me

I went to cuba from dec 16-23.. and I didnt think it was to lifeless, the nightlife was pretty good actually. I hear costa rica is nice though and has some nice shopping if you are interested in that sort of thing or are bringing a lady friend.

i didnt have as much fun in cuba, cause of all the old ppl in our resort, and cause i got in a motorcycle accident in cuba, but i did have fun in general.

yeah for the money you cant go wrong, but I always wanted to go to costa rica.

i went to cuba with one friend and 12 girls.

i came back with a girlfriend. haha

we went out on scooters. 10 girls, 2 guys (2 broads chickened out)... i felt like i was in the lamest biker gang on earth.

so all you guys know is costa rica has good shopping? haha

not exactly what i was looking for..

i'm not too interested in domician republic... i might go back to cuba. veradero at least has club havana which was somewhat okay.

I havent been to costa rica I just heard from some people that it has good shopping.

i have been to costa rica with a friend and two girls. we stayed at an all-inclusive hotel resort that gave us our own house overlooking a beach and free shuttles downtown san jose + local night life spots...the best part was renting out atv's and hitting the streets and local markets. 1st we rode onto a guided mountain top tour- kinda sketchy because there was mountain wall to your right and 1ft to my left a deadly drop and theres not enough space to completely turn around- after we went off on our own for 2hrs on atvs. Wildlife is absolutely everywhere, even on the resort grounds. The rainforest and valconoes keep you busy during the day (awesome sites) and the nightclubs are full of young locals and tourist (no seniors here)

I also highly recommend trying their beer called "Imperial" its no "Canadian Beer" but fars much better than Corona (mexican ****) and American Beer (need i say more)
oh and the coffee down there is the "****"

Downtown San Jose is an awesome bargain - more bang for your buck
