Coldest Winter in YRS
Anyone feel like the winter we're currently having is one of the coldest in a while. It feels like some days its arctic cold. I don't remember it being like this in recent history.
Result of Global Warming and weather extremes?

Its weather extremes in my opinion. If we were to look at snowfall from previous years, we had the maximum amount this year, during December and January. February has been rather wet for this time of year. It has been bitterly cold; but it feels like a dry cold - which makes it feel worse.

winter sucks in any form whatsoever. the january snap was brutal plus a couple of days in february. the worse days are just a few though (like today) and as long as everyday is not like today...its still manageable.

My Family Inlaw Went Through Minus 50 Temps A Week Or Two Ago Out In Calgary. Sister Inlaw Fudged Up Her Finger Tips Just From Trying To Open Her Car Door Via Handle. That's Cold, This Is Minor League Shyt

naahhhh....what's fcuked up is that one day it minus 50 and the next day is plus 8. it's the whole shinook thingy the west has that sents you for a loop. been there twice now and it's kinda cool. getting a lot more commercialized as the days go by. might be moving there this summer and the best part is we won't have to have a tacky front bumper license plate...eeewwww..

I actually don't think it has been that cold this year. True, we have had some cold days, but I remember in the 80s when we frequently had temperatures in the -30s and a lot more snow.
I would agree, however, that compared to the last 10 years or so, this year we have had more snow.
