if u have high speed already provided from bell check out their bundles....they have unlimited evenings and weekends for like $25 a month...and ur highspeed bill drops a bit too or something along those lines........i forget....haha but u do save money. . .if ur gonna have ur cell phone for a while.....it'z a good deal. . bell gives u like i think 150 or something towards a phone...or u can just get one of their free phones

http://bellbundles.logient.com/bundl...ON&language=en

also check out Rogers
they have a promotion goin $20 so then after tax w/e $25. . right. . .same crap 1000 weekend and evening mintues or w/e and then 50 anytime minutes. . .phone is free

if ur like a phone mongal and u live on ur cellphone like ur home phone....haha just use it as a home phone and go with fido and their citywide plan........kinda pricey $45 but if u live on ur phone...it'z well worth it

isn't pay as you go expensive? compared to a plan?

i'm getting a phone through my friend at dofasco... she gets unlimited evenings weekends starting at 7... 150 anytime mins and free voice message... i dont think it includes call display but thats only like $3-4 a month more

any corporate plan is where you wanna be at...like I have my plan which is 40bucks/month

400 anytime
unlim eve/weekend
free voicemail
free call display
3.95 access fee instead of 6.95
no admin fee for startup (usually 50bucks)

plus I got my phone for basically half price on a 1 year term...the 3year term price was nowhere close even

I don't know what a Corporate Deal is, but I am with Rogers at the moment.

150 air time
week night/weenend free
free call display
free call waiting
free 3 way call
2500 min. call forwarding
+ whatever the access fee is
2 year contract.

35 dollars.

oh yea I also have 10cents a minute long distance and mo better coverage than fido. had my rogers phone here and a fido phone and the fido phone kept searching for signal. If bell wasnt so damn pricey and had some halfway decent phones I would still be with them. GSM is the way to go these days especially with the 850 band rogers has goin for them

wow, I'm starting to sound like a phone nerd, rather than a car nerd

I;m with bell I last saw a bill 3 years ago.... some how that coinsides with when I started working for bell

if you want just price plan comparasion then go to each companies website and look stuff over.... best way to shop and compare in my opinion...

as for Pre-paid versus post paid.... Prepaid charges you 35 cents and minutes and 35 cents a minute on top of that if the call is long distance.. for post paid if you go over your allocated minutes it's like 25 cents a minutes or less... so post paid is cheaper

when I had fido I would lose service in key locations, other than that they are cheap and have decent "in city" performance...but outta town is iffy

I have futureshop's corp plan from when I worked there.

My base is $25/month and it includes 200 daytime and unlimited evening/weekend. I also get unlimited text, voice mail, call display...conferencing...waiting...and forwarding...and i get free web browsing. However, I do a lot of long distance so my bills are usually around $60.

Oh ya...it's with Bell.

my plan is better than all of yours combined.

unlimited 24-7
extended voice mail
call waiting
call display
all the other regular features

$0.00/month.

my company pays.

They were going to get me a pager but I made them aware of the fact I won't be able to call in an emergency if I have no phone...
