It's really scary to know that she was taken from her bedroom in the middle of the night and now found dead.

Hopefully it will bring closure to the family. Whoever was responsible is hopefully found and punished to the full extent of the law.

If you ever go to Wal-mart and see the lost child board? How many of these will make it to the media main stream? .01%?

I hate the media in general. They just show us what we think we want to see. Off topic from this thread but look at when the americans bombed the Cdn troops. Cdn news covered it. American news... hahaha yeah right. Not even a peep.
Most of the missing children on the Wal-Mart board are American. I'm not saying that missing American children aren't worth knowing about, but their stories just like Cecelia's are unfortunately mostly localized. Only in rare cases do news stories like this take on an international scale like getting onto America's Most Wanted which is really unfortunate because the more people who know about things like this, the better the chances of recovery/bringing the suspects to justice.

It also has to do with how the media protraits the case, and evaluate the possibility of it being a hit news that will bring attention to the society, increase newspaper sale, magazine, media exposure, this and that...

Behind every good and bad incident, there will always be people making money behind it, legitimately or not.
