Fellow Car Enthusiasts,
We would like to invite you to participate in a market research study with
people who enjoy hopping up their ride.
This involves attending a 2-hour focus group discussion. This is your chance to have a great exchange of ideas with other people who are also passionate about their cars, plus you’ll receive $50.00 for your participation.
This will be held one evening during the last week of February 2004.

more like you pay them to sponsor you, then , you get screwed all over the places cuz all you get is ****ty sponsors

where in Rich's post does it say you have to pay..
they are paying you for your time so that they can gather information about what our demographic likes to buy so they can then create the right sort of products to further their business
this is not a scam.
