School Formal

Arlite, name says it all. I am going to book a hotel for formal, for dec 10. How would i go about booking this hotel? I am underage, so does this mean my parents have to book it for me? Please give me the info on it. Thank you. Also since it is a formal, i need some formal clothes. Where would i be able to pick some nice stuff up and wont cost me a million.

Have your parents book it of course.

For clothing, just rent a tux for 100 or a little bit more. No need to by GA shirts for a simple formal.

oooooh man! high skool formal...damn, that wuz like over 7 years ago for me...oh man, i'm sooo frickin old! i think my date got his tux at one of those stores like syd silver or sumpin...it was in a mall.

my friends and i got a sweet suite at the delta downtown...pretty much everyone from our highskool booked rooms/suites there...it was frickin amazing cuz everyone was in the same hotel! too bad i dont remember much of it. but yeah...staying the same hotel with all ur friends is the best way to party after formal.

The wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Oakville a few months ago. We got one of the "Romance" packages for around $250. It included a really nice jacuzzi suite, bottle of wine and 2 free breakfasts. As long as you have a major credit card, you shouldn't have a problem renting the room. If you trash it, they'll just charge the damages to the card.

Usually if they know there is formals going on around town the hotels will just ask for a parents signature and a deposit incase you wreck stuff. oh the good ol days of proms... running down the hallways naked to the ice machine only to find out it was empty and having to run to the next floor... good times. Have fun man and don't do anything I wouldn't do. (In other words... have fun.. go crazy.. get naked!)

u can go to a hotel...

u just have to pay an extra 50 dollar deposit as an insurance fee...
so its like 120 + 50... then u get back your 50 back in the morning that being u dont mash up the room..

You all have been pretyt helpful. Now let talk about the clothing part. Cynikal your way sounds great, but most likely im not gon' let in with that. So lets say some nice brands and such, help me out there. A site would help to. Im just feelin that Armani stuff though. A nice armani shirt i think would look super sick.

dude, labels have nothin to do with the look...my wal-mart gear looks just as slick as people that like to shop at pure spence locations...u just gotta know what to buy...plus, I've been to many formals and proms in my get up...best dressed in the place

oh the joys to be young and full of money to waste on superficial articles of clothing to be used 1-3 times a year...clothes dont get ya laid, the attitude does

if i had a budget.....i'd spend money on the suit -- not the shirt and tie

when you have a 1200 dollar suit it feels and looks different than a 300 dollar one

but a 300 dollar prada shirt isn't any differet than an 80 dollar one at banana -- specially when you can only see 10 percent of it anyways since the jacket blocks it all
