blowin my brains out....

hey guys..im sure everyone here has had a similar feeling to what I am about to vent about but what can I do???? Im so stressed out lately that I cant even concentrate. Work is slow, im broke, im cranky and tired. I work a minimum of 60 hours a week, plus ive just picked up a second job for a few months until it picks up in the car business. Im so stressed out that its affecting my relationship, my self esteem, my patience with my customers therefore my job (And everyone else as we saw from my post about labatia this morning) I just cant seem to get out of this "mood" im in where i have no patience and I wanna F***ing kill everyone who talks to me...

Has anyone had similar thoughts/feelings when times get tough? How did you get out of it

So it comes down to your work and that effects your financial status. Ever consider a new job?

I have been considering a new job, the thing is i like my job, when its busy, and I love my bosses and my co workers its just hard when its slow and you work a 12 hour shift and dont sell anytihng....except in the summer when the paychecks are a little fatter its all worth it...i dont know what to do
the other trick is i moved to guelph because of this job, if I quit my job id have to find work and potentially move again...no thanks.

It was a good suggestion its just not a feasible option but you are right work is the root of all my problems

Perhaps work seasonal if they let you? Try to do something else in the spring/winter time.

A second job only adds to the stress...I tried to hold down 2 jobs b4 and it only made things worse..

Try it and take it easy for awhile.

ever tried art, just sketch or draw whats on your mind.... youd be surprised, it helps me when im stressed out.

like said above, a long relaxing drive helps too, but gas gets expensive when you dont have much money

going for a drive=gas=money
buying beer=money
sleeping=your problems dont go away
getting another job=more money=no time to enjoy life

im in a no win situation.

Yes, I've had similar problems. I read books and listen to cd's that motivate me.

cynikal_mindset. I sell cars. I work straight commission therefore if im not at work, im not making contacts with potential clients which means Im not seling cars and not making money. Its so dead this time of year that I have to wrok as much as were open because i need the clients. And the sick thing is I JUST took a holiday. Two weeks in florida. I felt great for two weeks after i got back then it all went downhill...thanks for the advice.

OK - in all serioisness - you need something to relieve your stress without costing $$...

I leech beer off friends (just call and find out who has beer and invite yourself over) - it's low but I've done it and had it done to me -

Another stress reliever I know of is video games - I usually play MAME games (pac man, galaga, donkey kong jr) mindless stuff to waste time.

Places where you are alone can be trouble - too much thinking time not good
- hit up IRC and chat about cars, music , whatever.... just fun stuff to lift your spirits. or stay here and post ***** .
